Well, the pressure is on. I am back from vacation and need, really need, to update this puppy.
The vac was great! You just can't beat 5 days on the beach--plus a full moon on the beach, plus beer on the beach, plus shopping on the beach (you need to see the ring!), plus everything else on the beach. Oh, we saw my daughter and her friends, too.
Back home for a rest--hah! Paint, paint, paint. It looks great. At least it will when the window trim is on, and the new doors installed, and the baseboard is down. Hmm. Got a little carried away, didn't we?
Work is great, work is good, work is hard! Geez, you would think that I could get some rest here. Ah, there is no rest for the wicked. (That's me, for those of you who don't know me.)
We are facing a crisis right now. Our beloved cataloger, Linda, is not able to return to work due to her health. No more jokes about her body checking us with her walker, no more jokes about her love of baseball and basketball (except for cards and stuff). She has been at library for over 20 years. What will we do and be without her? I know--take her chocolate! Whee!
Hmm. Writer's block. Ah, yes, the annual report is due. Do I have any volunteers to come and do it for me this year? Anyone? Anyone at all? No one? Don't make me come looking for you. I know you are all out there.
Well, I guess that's all for now. Tomorrow is another day. A time for a random act of kindness. Or a random act of madness.
Absurdly,
Pat
